Sam Beskind

Sam is an Associate at Floodgate and Chief of Staff to Mike Maples Jr. He earned his MS and BS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford, followed by an MS in Advanced Energy Systems at the Colorado School of Mines. He was also a varsity basketball player for both the Cardinal and Orediggers. 

During his time in school, he started a podcast called Built for Earth to highlight founders building hard tech solutions to climate change. He also brings experience from Incite, where he helped identify start-ups and non-profits developing world-positive innovation across climate tech and social impact. 

Sam is from Tucson, Arizona and thinks it’s the one of the most underrated cities in America.
