Mike Heller is a partner at Floodgate.  He believes AI will dramatically shift how organizations (and the world) operate and he invests in founders focused on building for this uncertain future.

Prior to Floodgate, Mike spent his career exploring the types of novel distribution challenges that are becoming the norm in the post-playbook era of sales and marketing.  Mike helped define the first “product-led-sales” motion as an early enterprise seller and team lead at Dropbox. He then joined Clearbit as the first business hire, leading sales, post-sales & partnerships during a period of 40x revenue growth that set the stage for a successful exit to Hubspot.

More recently, Mike built a consulting practice where he helped the founders of over 30 seed-stage startups deploy a slimmed-down version of sales best practices to navigate their unique paths to product-market fit.  Mike has also served as a Scout for Craft Ventures, a Venture Partner of Angular Ventures, and an Expert-in-Residence at First Round Capital.

Interests: Uncommon animal encounters, high quality produce & anything in the outdoors with my two boys.
